Jacqueline Hudson was born in Cambridge, MA.  She studied at the School of the National Academy of Design, and the Art Students League.  Her work has been represented in the following exhibitions :  the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the American Watercolor Society, Art U.S.A. '59, Allied Artists of America, Society of American Graphic Artists, Knickerbocker Artists, the Philadelphia Print Club, the Library of Congress Print Exhibition. She has also exhibited in the Cincinnati Art Museum, Dayton Art Institute, Bixler Museum at Colby College, Portland Art Museum.

Her awards have included Pennell Purchase, Library of Congress; Mrs. Henry W. Parsons Prize for best black and white in 1953 and 1956, and the Kander Watercolor Prize in 1957, Rockport Art Association.
