Tim Christensen: Animals! Opens in Portland

Friday, June 1, was the opening reception for the gallery's newest exhibit, Tim Christensen: Animals!, at its Portland location. The public was awed by Christensen's amazing black and white porcelain vessels and sculptures. This stunning installation runs through July 28.

On Friday, June 1, Gleason Fine Art in Portland opens Tim Christensen: Animals!, porcelain pottery in the sgraffito tradition. From his studio in the woods, surrounded by the natural world that inspires him, Tim Christensen creates his extraordinary drawings on porcelain.

"My work is narrative...often spiritual, often funny. I make pots about the times in which we live, and the challenges of living in a time in which we are divorced from the natural world around us."
